Horacio Santos
Born and raised in Portugal, Horacio Santos moved to Australia in the late eighties where he worked in the finance industry, focusing on client advice and portfolio management. Living in Australia sparked in him a passion for the outdoors, and a desire to seek out adventure and meet new people.
Years later, based once again in Portugal, an opportunity arose to change his career and pursue his passion. Walking the Camino to Santiago de Compostela for the first time was inspiring, life changing, and reaffirmed his decision to become a walk leader. Since that first walk, Horacio has led walking trips to various destinations. Horacio’s love for the outdoors and enthusiasm for immersive travel is present in his style of guiding.
