What lingers with travellers long after they have returned home from Vietnam and Cambodia, is images of verdant rice paddies, farmers in conical hats, fishermen in wooden boats, shyly smiling children and ponderous water buffalo, and the spectacular ruins of Angkor Wat. Add to this the tropical climate and varied landscape and you can understand why this is one of our most popular trips.

Begin in the historical city of Luang Prabang, where you will explore the gilded temples of Wat Mai and Wat Xieng Thong. On a cruise along the Mekong River, you will discover gold-lacquered Buddha statues nestled in the limestone caverns. You will be warmly met in Hanoi, Vietnam’s thriving capital with lakes, shaded boulevards and wonderful public parks. In Halong Bay you will cruise the secluded caves, swim in the crystal clear water, and enjoy fresh seafood dishes. In Saigon, the largest city in Vietnam, you will explore the Cu Chi Tunnels and visit the former Presidential Palace. Siem Reap will be your final destination on this tour where you will spend three days with the unforgettable wonders of Angkor.
