Burgundy is the land of wine and water! Join Sarah and Murray Bancroft, owners and winemakers at Birch Block Vineyard, for a week of gentle vineyard biking as we travel by barge along the Yonne River in the heart of Burgundy. We’ll visit picturesque villages and ancient medieval towns, and indulge in Burgundy’s fine wines. Sarah and Murray will select some favourites for us to enjoy during the cruise and host an Apéro (Happy Hour) on board to compare wines from Birch Block with the same varieties and vintages grown in France.

In between cycling excursions, relax on board the Fleur, exclusively chartered for this group. We’ll enjoy breakfast and dinner on board (except for one night to enjoy an independent dinner in Sens) and have a packed lunch to take with us on daily cycling excursions. There’s a choice of longer or shorter bike rides or you can spend the day on board enjoying the splendid views and exploring the pretty medieval towns and villages.
