Vienna: A Musical Interlude

Vienna is truly one of Europe’s greatest cities – one of the world’s foremost centres of the arts. Parks and palaces, the Danube River and canals, the Ringstrasse, the fabulous art museums and galleries, the history, the relaxed café culture… and the music, make a visit here a stimulating and unforgettable experience.

Vienna has been home to more renowned composers than any other city. What’s more, nowhere else on earth will you find more first-class musical performances taking place. Rick has picked eight concerts for us – excellent seats – plus a Sunday morning performance of the Vienna Boys’ Choir.

Each day begins with Rick’s presentation about the evening’s concert or opera. Mornings include guided tours to a selection of Vienna’s museums, architecture, and musical heritage. Afternoons provide free time to rest before the performance.

Rick will be your personal host and guide for this springtime week in Vienna, with a range of memorable activities and marvelous concerts featuring some of the best artists and ensembles in the world. When we hear music-making of this calibre it is truly life-changing and unforgettable.
