Be prepared for rugged vistas and fascinating history on this tour of Peru and Chile. You will take in the best of each country, from the cultural heritage of Peru, to the alpine scenery in Chile.

You will start by experiencing Lima, with its charming mix of Spanish Colonial and 19th century European architecture, and Cusco, with its extravagant churches and palaces. You will have the opportunity to stay right in Machu Picchu, and experience this wonder before the other tourists arrive. In the Sacred Valley of the Incas, you will be amazed by the ingenious stonework, cobbled streets, and extensive communal water system that has survived to this day. Onward to Chile, your first stop will be in its capital of Santiago, where you will explore its beaches, take in the views of the Andes, and visit its historic city centre. You will finish your adventure in the Chilean Lake District, where you can stare into the deep-blue waters and gaze the snow-capped volcanoes in this magical area.
