This trip of a lifetime to South Africa is a grand adventure of spectacular scenery, native traditions, and colonial influences. Images of the animal life include elephants lumbering past acacia trees, the graceful gallop of giraffe, majestic lions surveying their domain, and restless rhino rumbling across the bushveldt. Virtually the size of Europe and with more than 3000 kilometers of coastline, the country has climatic differences ranging from searing hot desert to snow-capped peaks, and varied cultures from Bushmen to the most western ways.

Your tour will take you from Johannesburg to Cape Town, taking in some of the best of South Africa en route. You will travel to the world famous Kruger National Park, long considered one of the finest wildlife destinations in the world. You will take early morning game drives in the national park in search of the Big Five, undoubtedly the wildlife adventure of a lifetime. You will travel through Swaziland and Zululand, reaching Durban, the Zulu Kingdom's bewitching seaside playground. From Knysna you will take a lagoon cruise to Featherbed Nature Reserve, and in Oudtshoorn you will visit an ostrich farm and tour the vast limestone Cango Caves. Your journey ends in Cape Town, a beautiful city set against the backdrop of dramatic Table Mountain.

1	Arrive Johannesburg and head to Mpumalanga Province, also known as "Paradise Country", along the Panorama Route with spectacular views of the Blyde Canyon
2	Look for the Big Five in Kruger National Park
3	Game viewing in Kruger National Park
4	Travel to the independent kingdom of Swaziland and watch glass blowers create a range of enchanting animals

5	Visit the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve in Zululand, famous for its black and white rhino

6	Dine and dance with locals in a traditional Zulu village and on to Durban
7	Fly to Port Elizabeth and explore the "friendly city"
8	Head westward along the Garden Route to Knysna, known as the oyster box of South Africa

9	Enjoy a lagoon cruise to the Featherbed Nature Reserve, and enjoy panoramic views at the top of the Western Head

10	Travel to Outdshoorn and visit an ostrich farm and tour the spectacular limestone caverns of the Cango Caves

11	Travel via the "Klein Karoo" and Montagu to Stellenbosch, and learn about the local farming community

12	Enjoy wine tasting in the Stellenbosch area and on to Cape Town, the oldest city in South Africa
