Day 2: Journey to the lowland Aripo Savannah and Arena Forest
Day 3: Travel north up the valley to Trinidad's Northern Range
Day 4: Set off in a small boat to explore the Nariva Swamp
Day 5: Hiking to Dunstan Cave to view a breeding colony of the nocturnal Oilbird
Day 6: Spectacular avian highlights of Caroni Marsh by boat
Day 7: Fly to Tobago, and walk the trails of Grafton Sanctuary
Day 8: By glass-bottomed boat to one of the most important seabird sanctuaries in the Caribbean: Little Tobago Island
Day 9: Hike Gilpin Trace trail in the Bloody Bay Rainforest Reserve - the oldest protected rainforest reserve in the west
Day 10: Depart Tobago
Your Tour Leader

Mike Kent is an excellent all-round naturalist and educator based in southwestern Ontario. He has worked as a Park Naturalist at Ontario’s Killbear Provincial Park and the famous Algonquin Provincial Park, and as a Tour Manager at the Monteverde Butterfly Gardens in Costa Rica’s highland cloud forests. He has a keen and abiding interest in all life forms with a particular fondness for insects, fungi and other under-appreciated groups.
